Sea kayak trip, solva 3rd April 2022

Briefing and Launch time:09.20 (*Please note that it will be at the discretion of the trip leader as to whether or not any member who has not signed up and not attended the safety briefing is allowed to participate in this trip.)
Estimated Duration: Approx 4 hours
Outline plan: Sea kayaks only. Paddle from Solva to porthclais. Stop for a snack and return.Rock hopping if conditions suitable. Should get some shelter from the northerly breeze. Trip should be suitable for members that have been doing regular pool sessions and/or are comfortable padding on the sea. If unsure contact me for advice. I will open container if you need kit but you will need to transport boats yourself or arrange for someone to carry for you. I may be able to carry one extra kayak. You must sign up on the website and state what kit is required. Meet at the container at 8.25 if kit needed. Bring warm kit and a hot drink and a snack. Important - keep checking website in case change of forecast forces trip amendment. Any quires message me.
Expected condtions: Light to moderate northerly breeze. Minimal swell forecast. Going to be chilly. Large tide, high at 8.30am. Early start to catch high tide at Solva. Approx 3 miles each way.
