Sea kayak trip, Solva to Porthclais 27th April 2024

Briefing and Launch time:9.30am (*Please note that it will be at the discretion of the trip leader as to whether or not any member who has not signed up and not attended the safety briefing is allowed to participate in this trip.)
Estimated Duration: Approx 4-5 hours
Outline plan: Launch from Solva at high tide, paddle to Porthclais, stop for lunch and return. May have to walk boats up river on return. Bring food and a warm drink. Might be chilly so dress accordingly. NOTE - due to parking I can't take trailer so you will need to carry your own boat or arrange for someone to carry for you. I can probably take 1, possibly 2 extra boats. You need to sort this. Anyone able to carry extra will be appreciated. If you are unsure message me. Sorry it's Solva again but wind dictates location.
Expected condtions: Meet at container at 8.45 if you need kit. Adult only sea kayak trip. NE breeze F3/4, should get shelter from wind by paddling along the coast. Minimal swell forecast so hopefully do some rock hopping. Approx 7 miles total. Suitable for adults only comfortable paddling for a couple of hours.
