Explore the Cleddau trip 1st August 2019

Estimated Duration: 2 hours approx.
Outline plan: Launch from the slipway at the old Pembrokeshire Activity Centre - there are no charges or parking restrictions and the parking is adjacent to the slip. Beginners and anyone wanting to explore upriver will turn right from the slip and enjoy a paddle on the beautiful Cleddau. Those wishing for more adventure can turn left, explore the more interesting waters downstream, and practice skills, too. They will be against wind and tide coming back! Meet at the container at 18.00 to collect kit. I can carry 1 additional boat on my car if someone has straps! Please can someone with keys meet me at the container if anyone requiring kit signs up. Thank you.
Expected condtions: Light Northerly winds, 8-9 mph gusting to 15 mph. Swell 1-2 feet (0.3 to 0.6 metres). High Water 19.27 hrs, 7.20 m at Milford Haven so those going up river will be returning with the tide.
